Music: Enjoy the best music at NVG

During the first month of 2017, you will have the chance to enjoy the best bands at the National Gallery of Victoria. In the last few weeks, we have seen bands like Gold Class and I heart Hiroshima. We still have the chance to enjoy the talent of the American composer Kaytlin Aurelia Smith for the lovers of unconventional sound will find in the experimental artist a good alternative to enjoy something different with the experience with an acoustic texture inspired by the natural world of her childhood. Enjoy a little bit of her rich and different style for composing Arthropoda. She will perform at NGV on 20 January. If you love being surprised by different effects, you will love his concert.

Undoubtedly, my favourite alternative is The Comet is coming, a creative jazz trio. They were successful with their debut album Channel the Spirits with let them be shortlisted for the 2016 Mercury Prize. What is new about them? They incorporated in an interesting way dub, post-punk, 70 sci-fi, afrobeat and psychedelic electronic… Something I need to hear live. They will show their best at NGV Friday Nights on January 27.
